Welcome to Trice, Stefan!

We are thrilled to introduce our newest member on the team, Stefan Johansson as Product Manager Europe.

Welcome Stefan, tell us about yourself!

I’m a trained engineer in electronics and I’ve been working with technical support on diagnostic ultrasound systems since 1992 with companies such as Acuson, ATL, Philips and Siemens.

Apart from working for the industry, I also have a lot of experience from the customer side after working for 10 years as a biomed engineer at the Akademiska University Hospital in Uppsala, Sweden.

Because of my general interest in IT, when PACS and other software products for off-line review started to make its way into the ultrasound business I gradually focused more and more on that type of equipment as well.

In my role as biomed engineer I got to work with equipment from most of the ultrasound manufacturers on the market including GE ViewPoint and Philips Xcelera.

Before joining Trice Imaging, I worked with Siemens Healthineers providing technical support for their ultrasound products and their archiving and reporting solution, Syngo Dynamics.

What attracted you to Trice Imaging?

I first got in touch with Tricefy back in 2012 when I worked at the hospital. I was instantly impressed with the product and really enjoyed working with the team from Trice.

To now be a part of the Trice family and to serve both new and existing customers is a dream come true for me.

What will you do at Trice Imaging, what’s your job?

Product Manager Europe. I will mainly focus on supporting our customers and distributors making sure that the end users are happy and proficient in their use of Tricefy. I will also be the main point of contact for customer feedback relating to how Tricefy can be improved and further developed.

What experiences do you have that will contribute to the Trice success story?

I believe that my knowledge and experience in ultrasound and different clinical workflows will be of great value.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself?

I have an illustration of the doppler effect tattooed on my forearm

Happy to have you, Stefan!
