Trice Imaging, Inc. Announces First Users in France, United Kingdom and Switzerland
The renowned Centre d’Echographie Mère-Enfant in Paris is one of the first of many new users in France of Tricefy, the cloud-based medical image sharing and collaboration platform
San Diego, Calif. – June 17, 2015 —Trice Imaging, a leading provider in the medical image management industry, announces its first users in France, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, adding to its roster of pre existing users in Germany, Sweden, Dubai, the United States and Canada. The prestigious Centre d’Echographie Mère-Enfant, lead by Dr. Pascale Sonigo, is using TricefyTM to enhance patient experience, as well as improve communication and collaboration with referring physicians.
Trice Imaging is a cloud-based platform to manage and share medical images, studies and reports. Tricefy mobilizes medical images (DICOM) directly from the imaging device to any mobile device. The solution gives physicians the ability to instantly share images with patients and colleagues for fast and cost-effective referrals and consultations. Multiple physicians can collaborate on the same patient file simultaneously and the data can also be accessed from within an electronic health record.
“We are thrilled to be expanding into France, the UK and Switzerland,” said Bernd Nuber, senior vice president of business development at Trice Imaging, Inc. “We are very pleased with the productivity gain and patient satisfaction our customers have achieved in such a short amount of time. We look forward to a long and continued partnership, both with Dr. Sonigo and the rest of the customers in France, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, and we will continue to work towards optimizing workflows and reducing costs in healthcare, both in Europe and around the world.”
Dr Sonigo and her team are using Tricefy to serve the women in Paris by sharing images and video clips directly from the Ultrasound system to their smartphones, quickly and securely, rather than the traditional and antiquated method of giving them printouts of their ultrasounds. The center is reducing printing costs and storing their medical images more effectively in the Tricefy cloud archive. Centre d’Echographie Mère-Enfant is also using the system to share best practices and collaborate with other industry leaders.
Dr. Sonigo is a leader in ultrasound diagnostics for high-risk pregnancies. She has served as the chief of Paris Hospitals’ clinical assistant and as a practitioner at Hospital Necker Enfants Malades. Currently, Dr. Sonigo is a member of the Multidisciplinary Center for Prenatal Diagnosis of Necker Maternity, where she has been responsible for fetal imaging in high-risk pregnancies since 1991.
“The safety and quality of care for our patients is of the utmost importance,” says Dr. Sonigo. “With the Trice technology, we can achieve that superior care by providing expert advice in a secure, efficient and timely manner. In just seconds we can share the images and videos with patients, who can then share them with their family and friends. This technology allow us to enhance both the patient experience, improve quality of care and the practice’s overall performance and efficiency.”
