Dr. Brar joining Trice's growing group of customers

Trice Imaging, Inc. announced today that the well-known California based Dr. Brar launches Trice Imaging, Inc.’s solution at his group of practices.

Trice Imaging, which offers a web-based, medical image routing platform that mobilizes DICOM information from medical imaging equipment to any mobile communication device such as cell phones and tablets within seconds, has revolutionized the way medical images are being converted, shared, and stored by medical professionals and patients across six international markets. The solution gives physicians the capabilities to share images with other physicians for fast and cost efficient referrals and consultations but also with patients.

Dr. Brar has eight offices, in the cities of: Apple Valley, Corona, Hemet, Indio, Montclair, Murrieta, Riverside and San Bernardino and provides health care for the lower income patient segments. Dr. Brar is using Trice Imaging’s services for cost efficient image management, for both patients and storage.
“For patients, we are now able to offer an elective service to receive images digitally, straight to their cell phones or emails. Patients and their families are finding this to be very useful and cutting-edge. Now, they can get these images in full resolution, faster and easier than before for a convenience fee.  For us, that means we can reduce the amount of expensive thermal paper required,” says Dr. Brar. “For our biometric and medical images, we are in the process of utilizing the Trice cloud-based solution as an easier and less expensive solution to printing and attaching to patient files. The workflow to do this has been an easy implementation. A few clicks and we have the data stored. It’s very efficient.”

“We are very proud to have Dr. Brar using our technology. Dr. Brar quite possibly has the highest volume of patient throughput for a single high-risk OB/Gyn physician in the United States.  Dr. Brar is a good example of our growing customer base. He is managing his practice well and takes good care of his patients. Our customers takes pride in having fast, secure and HIPAA compliant services available for their patients as opposed to give them old fashion DVDs or fading thermal printouts” said Wilson Gottschild, Vice President of Sales at Trice Imaging, Inc.

Trice Imaging’s patented technology has won several prestigious industry awards, including a GSMA Global Mobile Award for “Best Mobile Health Innovation” in 2012, and is making huge strides in defining the future of mobile medical imaging.  Trice Imaging plans to continue its expansion into new markets in 2013.
