Trice Imaging, Inc. announces Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, joining Trice Imaging’s rapidly growing group of customers

San Diego, California—March 17th, 2014, Trice Imaging, Inc., a leader in mobile medical imaging, announced today that the well-known Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City launches Trice Imaging, Inc.’s solution.

Trice Imaging, which offers a web-based, medical image routing platform that mobilizes DICOM information from medical imaging equipment to any mobile communication device such as cell phones and tablets within seconds, has revolutionized the way medical images are being converted, shared, and stored by medical professionals and patients across six global markets. The solution gives physicians the ability to share images with their patients and colleagues for fast and cost effective referrals and consultations.

Founded in 1852, Mount Sinai Hospital is part of the Mount Sinai Health System, which includes the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and seven hospital campuses to provide the highest quality health care throughout the New York metropolitan area. Mount Sinai’s Maternal Fetal Medicine team assists expectant mothers with a history of complicated pregnancy or who have special concerns, such as multiple births, diabetes, high blood pressure, and premature labor.

Dr. Keith Eddleman is the Director of Obstetrics and a senior member of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine in the Department of OB/GYN and Reproductive Science at Mount Sinai.

“Our patients, in general, are very tech-savvy, and seem to appreciate getting these images in a digital format that will be accessible and which can be shared with ease by their family members.  In the long run the platform will help us streamline operations by reducing the time and cost it would otherwise take to print images. Furthermore, the digital delivery system means each patient will also have access to a greater net number of ultrasound images.” Dr. Keith A. Eddleman

“We are so pleased to welcome Mount Sinai Hospital to our growing list of happy customers.  They are one of the premier teaching hospital systems in the country and a leader in New York metro area.  The team has been an absolute pleasure to work with and we look forward to having them to take advantage of the many use cases of our solution.  There is much more we can do expand their reach in the community and enhance collaboration with colleagues with our simple to use and easy to implement service”, said Wilson Gottschild, Vice President of Sales.

Trice Imaging’s patented technology has won several prestigious industry awards, including a GSMA Global Mobile Award for “Best Mobile Health Innovation” in 2012, and is making huge strides in defining the future of mobile medical imaging.
