Privacy & Terms of Use of the service Tricefy and other services to patients
The Clinics and hospitals that have a Trice Imaging, Inc. license are permitted to offer image transfers to their patients under the terms and conditions of the license. The Clinic/Physician must have each patient sign a Patient Disclosure Form and Authorization as required by HIPAA. The Clinic/Physician is not the agent, servant, or employee of Trice Imaging, Inc. Trice Imaging Inc. does not provide, supervise, or control the care received.
Services to patients consist of the one-time wireless transmission to an email address and mobile telephone number (as specified by the patient) of the images and video clips (collectively, “Images”) that were generated during the screening performed on the Effective Date. When the screening is complete, and in accordance with the Clinic/Physician’s policies and procedures, the Clinic/Physician will cause the machine to send an encrypted copy to the patient. The server will reformat and encrypt the file and provide access to the images through a secure link. The patient can access the images through each link. After three months the link will no longer be operable.
Therefore, the patient should download the images when first using the link. The transmitted images are not part of the patient’s medical record. Neither the Clinic/Physician nor Trice Imaging, Inc. is responsible for the privacy or security of the transmitted images once the designated text and email recipients have download the images.
Trice Imaging, Inc.’s SMS/MMS/EMAIL Terms & Conditions for Tricefy and other services
Mobile text messaging and email transmission will be used to provide patients and doctors information and images for that patients study. The price for the transmission of the ultrasound imaged via email and SMS is set by the health care provider and is not charged on the mobile phone bill.
