Dr Alfred Abuhamad is Trice’s Senior Advisor in Public Affairs and participates in building the company’s international relationships with regulators, associations and industry leadership. Dr Abuhamad also plays an active role in the growth of the company’s value proposition and technology.
Alfred Z. Abuhamad, M.D serves as Member of Clinical Advisory Board at Artemis Health, Inc. Dr. Abuhamad serves as the Mason C. Andrews Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Director of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Dr. Abuhamad has expertise in maternal-fetal medicine and obstetrical ultrasound and innovative clinical research, including in the diagnosis of fetal cardiovascular problems in early pregnancy. He is a member of the Nuchal Translucency Oversight Committee, is active on the editorial boards of several journals and serves on the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine’s Board of Governors. Dr. Abuhamad is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds his subspecialty certification from the American Board of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Abuhamad completed his Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at the University of Miami School of Medicine, and his clinical fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine in Ultrasound and Prenatal Diagnosis
